With improvements, this rental has the potential to be excellent

We did enjoy our stay overall, largely because of the excellent location and the outstanding responsiveness of the management team. The beach & boardwalk were within easy walking distance, parking was convenient, & access to the highway made getting around effortless. When we reported issues, management responded within minutes and arrived at the property in less than 30 minutes! Which we greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, the property's condition did not meet our expectations. While the photos accurately represented the layout, they did not reflect the level of cleanliness and maintenance we encountered. The baseboards had a significant buildup of dust & the walls were heavily scuffed throughout. The home could benefit from a deep cleaning and a fresh coat of paint.
The most significant issue was the insect activity. We initially noticed ants in the bathrooms & kitchen, and management promptly had the property treated. However, the ants were present throughout the home, making their way into our luggage in every room. There were also flying ants in the king bedroom and a few cockroaches in the kitchen. We understand that insects can be a challenge in southern coastal climates, but the volume of ants was excessive.
There were also several maintenance issues upon arrival, including a broken toilet handle, a damaged bedroom door, a broken kitchen drawer, & a broken frame with exposed glass hanging above the couch. While management inspected these items promptly & worked to address them, we feel they should have been identified before we arrived.
We were excited to book directly with a local management company rather than a platform like Airbnb or VRBO, and we genuinely wanted this experience to exceed our expectations. While we enjoyed our vacation and appreciated the excellent customer service, we would not feel comfortable recommending or rebooking this particular property unless the cleanliness, pest control, & maintenance concerns were fully addre

Excellent vacation place

Overall, excellent experience. It was our second stay in this very apartment. First time we rented through airbnb, but then figured out there was a local service that charged less. Superb location. The place is simple and in need of some renovation and deeper cleaning, definitely not for a luxury vacation, but is very well worth the money.

Great place near the beach!

This is a great place to stay if you want want to be near everything going on in Hollywood Beach.

Worth the money!

The location was excellent, and the price was very good! The house was clean but needs some work to be considered a 5 star rating. The furniture can use an update, beds are very stiff and some of the furniture is starting to fall apart. All in all I am satisfied with my stay and they accommodated us on very short notice for a very fair price!

Great location!

The location is perfect—just a 2-minute walk to the beach and close to lots of restaurants along the boardwalk. The beds were firm but comfortable, and the place was clean.

Great Location

This was a great place to stay, aside from the sofas being a little worn out, there was really nothing to complain about. The location was perfect, the size was great, and the setup was even better than expected!

The second-floor apartment is cleaned, spacious and has a great floor plan. Best of all is the location near the beach and Hollywood beach walkway.
